HOW TO MEASURE

Get it right in 3 steps

Most fit issues come from one misread measurement. Take five minutes with a tape measure and you'll order the right cover first time.

Length

Measure the outside of the cage from front edge to back edge. Include any hinges, latches, or framework that sticks out.

Width

Measure across the cage at its widest point. Don't measure the floor — measure the cage itself, side-to-side.

Cage Height

From the top of the trailer floor to the top of the cage. Don't include the wheel arches or drawbar.

One golden rule: if your trailer falls between two sizes, always go up. Our covers are designed to fit slightly oversized — a snug cover tears at the corners, an oversized cover ties down properly.

SIZING QUESTIONS

What customers ask before ordering

Always size up. Our covers are designed to fit slightly oversized so they tie down properly. A cover that's too tight will tear at the corners and zippers under wind pressure. The Find My Cover tool above already accounts for this — it always recommends the next size up if you're between two.
Within a couple of centimetres is fine. Our covers have a small amount of give and our matching tool always recommends a size that's slightly oversized. The most important thing is to measure end of cage to end of cage including any hinges, latches, or framework that sticks out — that's what gets caught when you go too small.
Our heavy-duty PVC has minimal stretch and won't shrink in normal Aussie conditions. The fit you order is the fit you keep. That's why we make the covers slightly oversized — they're designed to be tied down taut from day one.

For flat-top covers, we strongly recommend them. Without bars, water pools on a flat cover, adds weight, and stresses the corners and zippers. Support bars create a peaked shape that sheds rain naturally and dramatically extends the life of the cover. For canopy bundles, the bars are already included.
